The Peoples Artist
If you have a moment, I am competing in a national voting-based art competition. If I win, Ill be donating a portion of the cash prize to my communities art centre to help promote the arts and local artist around my community. This contest is also a charity for the Art of Elysium museum in LA. The winner will receive $25,000, a spread in ArtForum Magazine, and a spot in Art of Elysium's Gallery. THE ARTIST BEHIND THE CANVAS
Based in Columbus, Ohio, I am a 29 year old visual artist specializing in medium and large-scale acrylic paintings . With a lifelong passion for painting, my creative journey has evolved to include not only acrylics but oils and digital media. Artist, however, is only one of my titles. I am also a proud wife and mother.
My work is deeply rooted in themes of empowerment and reverence, often celebrating the strength, grace, and complexity of a woman and her form. Each piece is an exploration of emotion, presence, and symbolism- inviting viewers to connect with the art on a personal and intuitive level.
Wether working on canvas or a towering wall, I aim to create immersive, impactful experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Apart from my own work, I also aim on giving my fellow artists a platform for their expression. Every month, I will hand-pick new artists to be showcased on this site.
